IE is very slow with Yahoo but other forums run OK. FireFox runs Yahoo OK so you where right about my browser not working OK.

Sounds like an issue with your browser.  I agree Yahoo is terrible.
 
But did you realize you can avoid it entirely by just receiving emails and replying to emails?
